Retained and voluntary duty system firefighters in Scotland will be balloted on a new and improved proposal from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) to standardise their terms and conditions.
The ballot is set run for three weeks, opening at noon on Thursday 7 November and closing at noon on Thursday 28 November. FBU Scotland regional committee is recommending that members accept the offer.
