Please note that a Subject Access Request (SAR) only provides access to your own personal information. It does not include information relating to other individuals. We will not disclose the personal data of third parties unless we are legally required to do so or have obtained the individual’s explicit consent.

Once the Subject Access Request (SAR) is received and the Data Subject’s identity is confirmed you will be contacted via email to confirm that your application has been received and that you will receive the response within one calendar month from that date. The FBU will use the information provided to search our systems and collate the requested personal data which we hold for you.

This will then be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the results communicated to you in an intelligible form via email. Please be aware that certain information may be redacted or withheld to protect the rights of third parties, in accordance with the guidance provided by the Information Commissioner’s Office.
