Death of member - Bro Ken Wong
It is with great regret and sadness that I have to inform you of the death of our member, Bro Ken Wong, age 44, who sadly passed away on 18 April, following a long battle with cancer.
Ken bravely served his hometown community of Crewe Fire Brigade and during his career was also stationed in the West Midlands at Northfield Fire Station and Atherstone Fire Station in Warwickshire, prior to joining Cheshire.
Ken leaves behind his wife, Gretta and two children Louie 6 and Leo 1. Everyone in the FBU sends Ken’s family, friends, and colleagues our condolences, solidarity and support at this very sad time.
FBU officials at local and national level are liaising to ensure all necessary steps are taken to provide support to family and colleagues.
