The Labour Party have recently gone through a review process that has looked at Party democracy. This was an extensive review and sought submissions from members, CLPs and affiliates alike.
The Executive Council has held several discussions around this, and felt it was important that the FBU took an active part in the process. The submission date was originally 28th June, but this date was extended following representations from affiliates and CLPs.
This part of the review process was called ‘Electing our Leadership, How we Make Policy and The Way We Work’ and the FBU response refers specifically to these three areas.
