Policy text
Conference recognises the clear support the Labour Party, under the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn, gave to the Fire Brigades Union and the commitment in the Labour Party ‘Workers’ Rights Manifesto’ (2019) to repeal anti-trade union legislation, including the Conservatives undemocratic Trade Union Act 2016 amongst many other positive commitments regarding workers’ rights.
Conference instructs the Executive Council to gain a commitment from the current leader of the Labour Party that the 2019 Labour Party ‘Workers’ Rights Manifesto’ be included in the next Labour Party General Election manifesto.
