Conference recognises the great work, often in challenging circumstances, by our sisters and brothers in Emergency Fire Controls.

Conference calls for the Executive Council (EC) to hold an Income Data Research review into the modern role of the Emergency Firefighter Control, taking into account the upskilling and ever-expanding work within but not exclusively, the following areas;

  • knowledge and understanding
  • mental skills emotional challenge
  • initiative and independence
  • increased responsibilities for personnel
  • skills and technology.

Conference instructs the EC to produce this report and report back before Conference 2023.
