Local Elections

Conference views with great concern the results of the local elections in May 2008 and expresses further alarm at the continued growing threat from far right organisations such as the BNP. Conference therefore calls upon every committee of the Fire Brigades Union to use its best efforts to challenge and oppose every BNP or similar political candidate that may stand in an election in their area.
