Reduction In Hours

Conference demands that the Executive Council initiate negotiations at National Joint Council, with the objective of achieving a reduction in the hours worked per week by all uniformed staff. Such negotiations must preclude any negative impact on agreed pay scales. A campaign in the furtherance of this objective should be implemented as soon as is practicable and in any event, prior to Conference 2006, at which a progress report must be delivered to Conference.
