Asylum Bill

It is disgraceful that Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Trans people can still be prosecuted, persecuted, imprisoned, tortured or even executed because of their sexuality, in over 70 countries. Following the introduction of the Asylum Bill, the rights of LGBT Asylum Seekers have been badly affected This Conference instructs the Executive Council to: 1. Apply pressure to the TUC General Council to campaign against this legislation. 2. Encourage Regions to affiliate to the "Stonewall Immigration Group". 3. Support campaigns run by Stonewall and others against the Legislation.
