On 20 October, the TUC has called a demonstration in London and the STUC a demonstration in Glasgow against the Westminster coalition government’s austerity measures. Firefighters will join hundreds of thousands of other workers marching for our future. Matt Wrack, FBU general secretary said: “The union wants to see a big attendance from FBU members and their families. Already our campaign coordinators in every region are looking at how this event can be built, transport arrangements etc. Please come along.”
