Young Members' Summer School

This three-day event brings FBU younger members together in an inclusive and friendly environment to harness the energy and passion you have for the fire service and the union and give you the tools need to build worker power and shape the change you want to see at work and in society.

This transformational school will bring together key political education about the fire service and your roles in it with the skills and confidence to become workplace leaders and impactful active members/activists within the union.

This inaugural summer school will coincide with the Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival; a great weekend of music, speakers, and radical politics at the birthplace of the trade union movement.  Attendees are encouraged to stay on and take advantage of this legendary celebration of the workers’ movement.
