Rebuilding Solidarity is a new course for branch and brigade officials which will help participants to address and challenge far right narratives with knowledge and confidence, in work and in communities.
Participants will understand who is being drawn to the far right, what their key concerns are, and where opportunities for relationship-building and solidarity exist, from analysis and modelling undertaken around and since the 13 September demonstration in London.
This is a discussion-based course which focusses on using dialogue and conversations to tackle right wing views. Participants will gather myth-busting evidence and explore effective arguments to confidently enter into discussions with colleagues, family and members of the wider community.
Rebuilding Solidarity is being delivered in partnership with the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) and will include a wide range of contributors including ACORN housing rights activists, Stand up to Racism, analysts from SOAS (University of London), and data modelling organisation Bombe.io
