Officers' School offers FRS officers who are FBU members the opportunity to find out more about the Officers’ Section of the FBU including the roles and opportunities available, the current work of the section and how to become more actively involved.
Officers will share experiences, build networks, and recognise the importance and value of officer organisation in the FBU. The school will cover the focus areas of the Officers National Committee including the Flexible Duty System, officer workloads and wellbeing, and DECON guidance.
Alongside discussion and information about the biggest issues affecting officer members this School will develop the skills and strategies that officers need to address those issues collectively. The programme will also include a range of speakers and discussion sessions and offer the chance to learn more about the work of the largest FRS officers’ organisation in the country.
