This three-day course is the starting point for the FBU health, safety and welfare education pathway.
You will learn about key health and safety legislation including the rights of the safety rep and the responsibilities placed upon managers and employers.
You will find out how to conduct a health, safety and welfare inspection of your workplace. You will learn how to assess and report health and safety problems at work, and where to get the support and resources you need. You will work with reps from other brigades and have your questions answered.
