This three-day course is accredited learning on the FBU health, safety and welfare education pathway.
Following on from the Introduction course, participants will learn more advanced skills in health, safety and welfare practice and consider in depth how to make best use of bargaining and negotiating structures to improve health, safety and welfare in the workplace.
There will be an opportunity to explore ways to involve more members in health and safety issues, exercise all rights afforded under the legislation, and develop further understanding of risk assessment processes. The outcome of the course will be focused on making a difference to behaviour and practice in FRS workplaces.
